Subway Opens New Drive-Thru

The Greater Mullins Chamber of Commerce held a special ribbon cutting ceremony at Subway in Mullins unveiling the new Drive-Thru on Thursday, August 2 at 10 a.m.  According to Owner Larus Lilley, only three Subways in the state have a Drive-Thru and his Mullins Subway is the only one in the state that can make your food as you order. Lilley says this new equipment can really benefit the time of his customers. The touch screen Drive-Thru can also program your order so your next visit, if you want the same meal as your previous one, all you have to do is type in your phone number and click your previous order that will display on the screen and your order is completed.

During the ribbon cutting, Neal Fairbanks, past-president of Mullins Chamber, thanked Lilley for his support of Mullins through his donations to the Mullins Chamber and variety of organizations as well as the local schools. Other community leaders including Sen. Kent Williams, Wayne George and Fannie Simmons commended his support to the area and the great environment he also provides.
